Leis of Luxury - UVC Light Sterilization Safety Protocol
Aloha and welcome to Leis of Luxury! We want you to feel as safe as possible in our unit during these uncharted times. Our cleaning crew has been certified in COVID 19 cleaning protocol & use only the approved cleaning products. When scheduling, we are blocking off 2 days unoccupied in between bookings whenever possible. We also provide an additional layer of protection by sanitizing the entire condo prior to your arrival with UVC /ozone sterilization lights. These lights are highly effective in killing bacteria and viruses and are used in hospitals, schools, offices, airplanes, hotels and now our condo. We believe our guests will appreciate these safety measures that we have in place.
Unpack, unwind and relax in our spacious island themed condo. Free parking spot which is the 2nd closest to the elevator. We are unit 6-402 on the top floor. You are welcomed in with ease through our keyless front door entry system and hand sanitizer stations. It's time to kick off your shoes - yippee you are on vacation!
Sit outside on the lanai and take in all the sights. Admire the beautiful multiple views of the Pacific blue ocean, the tropical gardens with the sweet smell of Plumeria trees, color changing water features, an evening sunset and the family friendly swimming pool.
Or are you ready for the beach? Put your valuables in the in-unit safe and then pack up the ice chest, grab the beach towels and chairs and go right across the street to Kamaole Beach Park III voted one of the best and safest beaches in Maui with a lifeguard on duty.
You will have no problems cooking up some yummy meals in the newly remodeled kitchen. Fully equipped with new granite and appliances. You have your own washer/dryer in the unit as well. The living room has a beautiful armoire which houses an entertainment center. There is a flat screen TV as well as games for all ages and a library of books all for your enjoyment. There is also free WiFi.
A beautiful grand wooden spiral staircase goes up to the master loft bedroom. Retire for the night in the new king size bed that has a foam mattress topper for extra comfort. The bathroom upstairs has just be remodeled with a glass walk in shower. In the downstairs bedroom there is a queen size bed as well as a single sleeper chair that unfolds onto the floor. The bed set up in this room will accommodate couples as well as children. Both bedrooms have flat screen TV's to watch your favorite shows when you are ready to hit the sack. There are also split air conditioners in each bedroom and the living room to keep you cool. Or if prefer the "island way" of temperature control there is a security locked screen door, windows and ceiling/floor fans throughout the condo.
Make plans for a round of tennis or a work out at the onsite gym before a day of snorkeling, swimming, or whale watching (Oct.-April). Or maybe you want to relax at the pool and order a tropical snow cone at the poolside snack bar. There is a game room poolside too if that sounds fun to you. On Wednesdays make sure to attend the resort's complimentary poolside Mai-Tai party and hula show.

Our Location:
The Kamaole Sands Resort lobby is open 24/7 for your arrival with complimentary coffee and local newspaper from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. This is a non-smoking complex except in designated smoking areas. It is situated on 15 acres of lush tropical gardens, just 30 minutes from Kahului Airport and within 10-20 minutes to golf courses, great restaurants, boutique shops and groceries. Whether it’s a zip lining through the rainforest, a snorkel boat to Molokini, or a helicopter ride over the island, our resort concierge located at the swimming pool will help you plan and book your adventures.
Supplies:
Due to limited personal protective equipment in Maui you may not be able to find the protective gear you prefer to use for COVID 19 so please bring your own as these are personal items and we are unable to provide them for our guests. Face masks are required on airlines & in many public places on island. All guests receive a complimentary 'Starter Kit' of amenities and supplies to assist during your stay. You will find paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, trash bags, bath & hand soap, hand sanitizer, personal sized shampoo, dish soap liquid, dishwasher soap, a kitchen sponge, laundry soap, and basic cleaning supplies. If you run out of above mentioned items, it will be your responsibility to purchase more for the remainder of your visit.

Electronic entry gate cards, parking pass, pool gate passcode, Maui Newspaper avail in the lobby and at the pool (free), unlimited local telephone calls & no charge for access to 1-800 telephone calls, free internet with computers and wi-fi in the lobby, Wi-fi at the pool, Wi-fi in condo plug-in modem located in downstairs bedroom. A weekly Wednesday poolside Mai Tai Party (3-5pm). You have access to the resort's on-site concierge activity booking service for tours, poolside food concierge service, and on-site boogie board and snorkel gear rental facility. The front desk has tennis equipment available for rent. Swimming pool, kiddy pool, 2 hot tubs, ping pong, fusball, work out gym, tennis courts. We also have a Croquet set in the condo you can play on the lawn. Kamaole Beach Park III right across the street.

Rental Policies
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS: Notice of intent to cancel or change dates must be provided in writing or emailed, to owner. Refunds will be provided, upon guest cancellation, if 60 days or more advance notice is provided. Cancellation received less than 60 days prior to arrival refunds are not provided. This reservation may be cancelled by the owner if it is withdrawn from a vacation rental program or if the property is damaged and is deemed unfit for habitation, with full refund to guest of rental costs paid to date. Rental fees will be immediately available to return to guest for un-used nights for any of the following mandatory reasons: Volcanic eruption or severe storm such as hurricane or tsunami or similar disaster which may affect the accessibility, condition, appearance or desirability of the island which results in mandatory evacuation; Outbreak of disease or pest infestation which may affect the safety or health of any person resulting in mandatory evacuation; Military action including declarations of war, which threaten or involve the U.S. or the country of residence of guest requiring mandatory evacuation. There will be no refund if guest continues to occupy the property. No refunds will be given for construction noise/debris or other maintenance/projects taking place on or off the said property; Burglary of property.
Payment Terms
PAYMENT SCHEDULE: If booking 6 months or more in advance then payment is split into 3 payments. If booking less than 6 months in advance than payment is split into 2 payments due. If booking within 60 days of arrival, we invoice for 100% of rates and taxes + “out cleaning fee”. Payments are made in US Funds only. You may pay with PayPal. PayPal offers free money transfers within the U.S. when you use your PayPal balance or a bank account. If you send the money to friends and family directly from your bank account and not your credit card, fees are avoided. If you prefer to use a debit or credit card to send money to friends and family, you'll pay a fee of 2.9 percent plus 30 cents of the amount you send.
Security Deposit
SECURITY DEPOSIT: The cash incidentals/security deposit is $250. The security deposit fee will be used to remedy damages or to replace inventory caused by negligent or improper guest use. Charges to remove smoke odor or excess soiling or staining from carpeting, upholstery, drapes, linens and other items may apply. If all is well with the condo at check out then the security deposit, personal check, is returned uncashed.
Release of Liability
LIMITATIONS/LIABILITY: Guests will be required to sign a COVID 19 Release Waiver. Guest agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the owner of the property, guest’s agent, and its officers, agents, employees, and assigns, from and against any and all liability for personal injury or property damage sustained by any person (including occupants and invitees) caused by, or arising out of, the negligence of the guest, occupant or invitee’s use of the property or from the failure of guest, occupant, or invitee to observe any of the conditions of this agreement, including but not limited to, the house rules. Guest shall not permit unsupervised use by minors of any device or equipment on the property. Guest is aware there are certain risks inherent to persons and property in swimming pools, hot tub spas, or when using exercise equipment, tennis courts, barbecues, and when entering the ocean and the outdoor natural environment. All occupants and invitees will be responsible for exercising due caution and agree to use all equipment and devices provided or rented, on or off the property, and to enter the ocean and to participate in sports and tours, entirely at their own risk and without liability to owner. Guest is aware owner would not accept this reservation unless all liability and responsibility is expressly assumed by guest, occupants and invitees resulting from their own uses and actions, during this reservation term.
House Rules
HOUSE RULES: Guests will NOT SMOKE INDOORS. No pets on property. Guest use is provided strictly for quiet accommodations for number of guests named in the Agreement. Guest will not use the property in any way that adversely affects neighbors including parking, excessive noise violations or any illegal activity. Quiet hours are required from 10:00pm to 8:00am. Guest may BBQ only in designated areas. Please follow posted pool rules. Furnishings and decorations shall not be moved or removed. Please respect owner’s property. Guests shall always avoid walking on floors and sitting on furniture or bedding until they have thoroughly washed and dried off and once all sand and sun products are removed. Guests will depart on date and time specified on rental contract, leave the condo tidy, and will turn off all a/c units, fans, lights and take out the trash before they leave.

Exactly as pictured
This unit was exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable and we really liked the separate A/C units in each bedroom and living room. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and other tools. We called on the maintenance man to fix a problem early in our stay. He was prompt and efficient and we had no other issues. The location of the condo is excellent and the view from the lanai was simply beautiful. We would stay here again.
