Other sports equipment is available at the Activities Center. Golf Putters, Tennis Racquets, Pickleball paddles available in the our unit.

Activities Onsite
Free unassigned parking. Fitness Room is located in the A building; key fob to it is provided by the office at registration. 6 BBQ grills available in the common area for guest use. Ocean side tennis courts (6 total between 3 complexes; 2 of them are combo pickleball courts). Golf putting green is located in the common area near the BBQs on the B Building side.
We can reserve special handicapped parking if needed, by the B Building entrance.
The Activities Center, by the pool, will hold a free Orientation Breakfast. Learn more about our fabulous island. They can also help you set up any excursions you might be interested in. The Activities Desk also has additional sports equipment for free use. Standup Paddle Boards (SUP) and Equipment are available for rental.

Rental Policies
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation notice must be received in writing. The refunds are made only in case we can re-rent the cancelled dates. $200 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations. We make all efforts to re-rent all cancellations. If we are able to re-rent the cancelled dates for the full rent amount indicated in Guest’s Rental Agreement, we will refund all moneys paid by Guest less $200 cancellation fee. If we are able to re-rent the cancelled dates for less than the full rent amount indicated in Guest’s Rental Agreement, we will refund the remainder (if any) of all moneys paid by Guest less $200 cancellation fees and less the difference between the original rent and the amount we can recover by re-renting. For cancellations on or after arrival date all funds are forfeited. Early departure does not warrant any refunds. Travel insurance is advised.
Payment Terms
Rates are displayed in US Dollars. The larger of $200 or 25% of the rent total is required to book. Balance is due 60-90 days prior to check-in, depending on season (90 days in winters Dec 15 - Apr 15). Payments by personal checks or money orders are preferred to avoid fees. Wire transfers and Paypal/credit card payments are accepted, if the guest covers the incurred fees.
Security Deposit
This is a payment of $300 collected from the guest to cover possible damage to the property. It is fully refunded within 10 business days if there are no damages. We inventory and inspect the property before and after every stay. The guest will be charged for missing items, excessive cleaning, violations of the house rules, and any damage done to the property beyond normal wear and tear.
Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and many of amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further to take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.
House Rules
GENERAL RULES:
A few days prior to your arrival date, you will receive General Information about our unit, and then a second communication with your door entry code.
Check-in time is 4 PM. Check-out time is 11 AM. NO early check-ins or late check-outs, unless specified in your rental agreement. Maximum occupancy: 4 guests. NO SMOKING is permitted in or around the unit, including lanai. NO PETS are permitted. Violation will result in the loss of your security deposit.
Maximum occupancy - 4 total travelers. The primary renter must be a minimum of 25 years old.
All guests must follow Maui Sunset's House Rules.
Check-in at the Maui Sunset Office to register yourself and your car. If you arrive in the evening, you may go straight to your unit. The Maui Sunset Office will invite you to a Welcome Orientation and breakfast.
PARKING: Parking is permitted in the designated spaces painted white. Please be respectful of the Handicapped Parking spots. We can reserve special handicapped parking for you, if needed.
AIR CONDITIONER: Please use the A/C sparingly and intermittently! If you are gone, do NOT have the A/C on. Try to not use the A/C at night while you sleep. Keep your screened windows and lanai door open at night. Turn on the ceiling fans. Sleeping in the light breeze is Nice! We have timers to automatically shut off the A/C after 4 hours. For optimum operation and coolness, please keep the A/C set at 72*.
OWNERS CLOSET: The locked closet in the MBR is the owner's closet and contains personal items. Please be respectful.
TELEPHONE: Local calls to the US Mainland and Canada are free. Please use your calling card for any calls outside of these regions.
GARBAGE: Please keep the kitchen clean from bread crumbs and food spills. Dispose of all trash at least every day. This helps keep any pests at bay. Our unit is sprayed quarterly. Please allow the Pest Control company in, should your stay coincide with the treatment day. You will have advance notice. The Maui Sunset GM will accompany them, and will ensure your personal items are safeguarded.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of others. No loud parties, no music outside after 10 pm.
PETS: No pets allowed.
SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted inside the unit or on the lanai. Smoking is permitted outside the unit or in designated area.
YOUR DEPARTURE: Check the furniture, closets and washer/dryer for your personal belongings. Put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the washing cycle. All furniture should be in the same place as it was on your arrival. Please put all linens and towels by the Washer/Dryer. Please take out any trash. Turn off all lights and the air conditioner. Turn the ceiling fans to LOW. Lock all windows and doors. Return the key fobs to the Maui Sunset Office.
Each vacation rental unit is equipped with a starter pack of the following items, and guests are responsible for purchasing (or bringing their own supplies beyond the starter pack): Shampoo and Conditioner, Soap, Laundry Detergent, Dryer Sheets, Paper Towels, and Toilet paper
BEACH EQUIPMENT and COOLERs: Our condo is equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, noodles, snorkel gear, and Coolers, etc for your vacation enjoyment. Please wash off all the sand from the beach/pool equipment and coolers BEFORE bringing it back into the condo.
