Our Sugar Beach condo #420 on the fourth floor has a direct panoramic view of Maalaea bay and unobstructed view of north to Lahaina and south to Wailea. It has a king-size bed, and a queen-size sofa bed in the living room. Other amenities include: central air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, microwave and dishwasher, washer/dryer, linens including beach towels, cable TV and DVD player, phone/answering machine with free local calling and Wi-Fi internet access.
Sugar Beach Resort is located on the northern edge of the picturesque town of Kihei on the island of Maui . While other popular Maui vacation spots often cloud over in the afternoons, Kihei is one of the sunniest spots on the island. You will see more breathtaking Maui sunsets from Sugar Beach than anywhere else on the island. Neighboring islands can be viewed from the shores of Sugar Beach.
Centrally located on the Maui isthmus in tranquil Maalaea bay, Sugar Beach is a beautiful, six-mile white sand beach perfect for long walks (the longest beach in the state of Hawaii ). Long stretches of Sugar Beach are bordered by a large, fresh-water bird sanctuary (Kealia National Wildlife Refuge). This fresh-water run-off into the ocean creates a sea environment rich with diversity. The waters off Sugar Beach are a favorite spot for green sea turtles. The warm waters of Maalaea bay have long been calving waters for humpback whales. Enjoy the exciting sight of sea turtles and breaching whales (in season) right from your seat on your condo Lanai. Or relax in your Lanai chair after sunset and gaze at clear Milky Way nights sparkling over the ocean.
Sugar Beach Resort is lush with tropical landscape. The grounds abound with palm trees, Bird-of-Paradise flowers and fragrant native island flora. The swimming pool, Jacuzzi, wading pool, sauna, sundeck and putting green are all located in full view of the ocean. On a grassy lawn in full view of the ocean are outdoor bar-b-ques, outdoor dining tables and a rocky waterfall. Two tennis courts, an onsite message therapist, an activities center, and a restaurant with bar are all located on the property. Championship golf courses, five-star restaurants, exclusive island shops, Hawaiian entertainment and the famous Kihei Farmer’s Market are just minutes away.

Cleaning and resort fees are included in the rates. Rate is for two persons. Extra adults: $20 per person per day (children until 16 years old are free). Maximum occupancy - 4 guests. Daily cleaning service is not provided; cleaning service after check-out only. Our housekeeper is responsive and can arrange daily maid service. No smoking. Pets not allowed. We reserve the right to change units. Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out time is 11:00 am. Discounts for returning guests. We ask you to print the Reservation Request form (PDF on our website) and mail it to us.

Deposit is refundable, less a $175 fee, if cancellation is received in writing sixty (60) days before arrival date. The full balance must be received at least sixty (60) says before your arrival date, or your reservation will be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded. There are no refunds for cancellations less than 60 days prior to arrival. No refund for any unused portion of a confirmed reservation. No refund for early departure. Travel insurance is advised.

Upon receipt of your Reservation Request and your $350 deposit check, we will send you a Reservation Deposit Verification Form. Upon receipt of your payment-in-full, we will send you a Reservation Confirmation Form with instructions for your stay.

Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and many of amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further to take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.
Check-in time is 3 PM. Check-out time is 11 AM. NO early check-ins or late check-outs, unless specified in your rental agreement. Maximum occupancy: 4 guests. NO SMOKING is permitted in or around the unit, including lanai. NO PETS are permitted.
Parking is permitted in the designated spaces painted white. You will be assigned a parking and issued a permit upon your arrival. Please always keep your permit on a dash board. One car can be parked in the garage. Additional two cars can be parked outside.

The locked closet over the refrigerator contains owners&#039; personal items. Please be respectful.
Local calls are free. Please use your calling card or credit card for long distance calls.
Roaches are a common problem in the tropics. Please keep the kitchen clean from bread crumbs and food spills. Dispose of all trash at least every day.
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of others. No loud parties, no music outside after 10 pm.
No pets allowed.
Smoking is not permitted inside the unit or on the lanai. Smoking is permitted outside in the designated areas only.
Check the furniture, closets and washer/dryer for you personal belongings. Put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the washing cycle. All furniture should be in the same place as it was on your arrival. Turn down all lights and the air conditioner. Lock all windows and doors. Return the keys to the lobby.

#220 & 420
Thank you so much for opening up your condo #420 for rent. We have enjoyed it for several years and look forward to our annual stay. We have also referred folks to you. Sugar Beach is, in our opinion the best location on Maui. It is at a central position for traveling throughout the Island. It is also a lovely and long for our morning walks on the Beach. It is a great swimming beach as well.
Sugar Beach Condos are a great location. It is small enough to be relitively quite, but large enough to offer a great pool, hot tub, and BB Grills.
Your unit #420 is our favorite because we love being just above the beach for the greatest view ever!. We have also enjoyed #220. The kitchen is stocked with everything required if we want to fix our own meals. In unit washer and dryer are great. We can travel light because we don’t have to pack a lot of changes of clothing. The bed is comfortable and the Lanai is so close to the water we can watch the turtles come to the surface.
We look forward to returning every year. You keep the condos clean and update things regularly, which we appreciate. THANK YOU!
