Immerse yourself in the ultimate Maui beach experience, and sleep to the waves lapping on the soft, sandy beach directly in front of your lanai. Kanai A Nalu is located right on the ocean, with a wonderfully vibrant snorkeling reef directly in front of the property, a perfect take-off place for your leisurely paddle boarding outing, or a serene setting for recharging on Maui’s sun-drenched south shore.
The condo is a fully equipped home base to host your Maui adventure, with comfortable accommodations for six, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, WiFi, and cable. Along with a kitchen that’s equipped to prepare and serve your private island fish feast, you’ll have access to an ocean front gas grilling area. Wrap up the day with a refreshing dip in the sparkling, beach front pool, or with a sunset refreshment on your lanai.
The Maalaea community is tucked away in a private beach enclave, between the hustle and bustle of Kihei, and about a half hour from Lahaina. It’s ideally located to experience all of the best activities and geography of the island, on 2.5 acres of tropical ocean front paradise.
Just down the street from picturesque Maalaea Harbor, which hosts Hawaii’s top-rated tourist attraction, the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium, the condo is an easy walk to an assortment of great restaurants, daily snorkeling and whale watching tours, deli and convenience store. The beach in front of the property is Sugar Beach, Maui’s longest walking beach and home to miles of undeveloped natural habitat and nature preserve. Fronting the preserve and its gentle surf is a favorite area to boogie board, snorkel, and paddle, regardless of skill level.
The property has frequent visitors: in season (December-April), you’ll see whales just off the property, and Maalaea’s beach is a favorite stopping-off and sunning spot for Maui’s sea turtles.
The seaside down of Kihei is less than a 10 minute drive, along the ocean, and the property is 15 minutes from Kahului airport. Lahaina is just 20 minutes away.
The property has an elevator and plenty of free parking. Beach gear (umbrellas, cooler, beach towels, beach chairs) are included, and there is a new washer-dryer in the unit.

NO SMOKING IN UNIT OR ON LANAI
Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
Rates are displayed in US Dollars. A 50% deposit is required at booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Payments by personal checks, money orders, wire transfers and Paypal are accepted.
This is a payment of $500 collected from the guest to cover possible damage to the property. It is fully refunded within 10 business days if there are no damages. We inventory and inspect the property before and after every stay.The guest will be charged for missing items, excessive cleaning, violations of the house rules, and any damage done to the property beyond normal wear and tear.
Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and many of amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further to take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.
Parking is permitted in any open space. Please always keep your permit on a dash board.
The locked closet contains owners' personal items. Please be respectful.
Local calls are free. Please use your calling card or credit card for long distance calls.
Roaches are a common problem in the tropics. Please keep the kitchen clean from bread crumbs and food spills. Dispose of all trash at least every day.
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of others. No loud parties, no music outside after 10 pm.
No pets allowed.
Smoking is not permitted inside the unit or on the lanai. Smoking is permitted outside in the designated areas only.
Check the furniture, closets and washer/dryer for you personal belongings. Put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the washing cycle. All furniture should be in the same place as it was on your arrival. Turn down all lights and the air conditioner. Lock all windows and doors. Return the keys to the lobby.
