Our gorgeous recently renovated 1-bed/1-bath condo is on the 2nd floor at the beautiful beachfront condominium resort of Hale Pau Hana. From the private lanai, drink in the spectacular view while sipping your morning coffee or evening cocktail, be lulled by the soothing sounds of the ocean, enjoy tropical breezes, and view whales (in-season) or savor the magical sunsets. Out your door are the beautiful beachfront resort grounds, with quick access to Top-Rated Kamaole Beach Park II. This unit is perfect for a couple, but can accommodate a maximum of 3 guests.
The bedroom is on the mauka side (the side opposite the beach) with a comfortable Cal-King bed, high thread count sheets, ample closet and dresser storage, AC, and an overhead fan. There is also an in-room hotel-style safe for your use. The living room offers a 50” TV with blue-ray DVD and speaker-system. There is also an overhead fan in the living room. The adjoining kitchen also has a fan, and is fully equipped to prepare delicious meals. High-end glass sliding doors open wide to both sides of the lanai to give you that “living outdoors” feeling. The condo’s tasteful modern decor features original art from a local Maui artist. HPH's amenities include a pool, lawn furniture, and gas grill barbecues. We also provide just for our condo and guests: two beach chairs, beach towels, a beach cooler, and some beach games. The condo also includes free wired and wireless internet service and keyless entry (with your OWN personalized code). There are laundry facilities on the property.
You are within easy walking distance to a number of good restaurants, coffee shops, bars and other amenities (scooter rental, snorkel rental, scuba diving shop, bank). Several close by small strip malls offer quick meal options, if you are exhausted from a busy day of sightseeing or beach hopping!
Kihei Rent-A-Car is not too far away; they offer shuttle service to and from the airport. Public transit (should you want to experience the local bus!) is across the street, and the condo is only a 5 minute drive to Wailea, and a 25 minute drive to Kahului International Airport (OGG).

These condos are non-smoking (including on the lanai), per Hawaii law. Violators will be charged their full damage deposit and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Parties/Events are not allowed.
These condos are not child-proofed and toddlers are discouraged. By renting this condo, guests assume all liability and risk to their children, and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using property.
Check-in and check-out times are necessary to allow our cleaning staff adequate time to clean the unit and do laundry to prepare for our next guests. Check-in time is 3pm. Check-out time is 11am.
Hawaii state regulations require us to obtain the names of all guests, including home addresses and contact phone numbers, for all rentals.

Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel after that point, they will not get a refund.
You may choose to purchase 3rd party travel insurance to alleviate the burden of unexpected cancellations. Some companies offering travel insurance include: AAA, CAA, and www.allianztravelinsurance.com.
Hurricane/Storm policy: No refunds will be given (unless the cancellation is 60 days or more prior to your stay).
ALL Rates are in US dollars.
We prefer a check or money order. (Bounced checks will incur a $30 charge.)
We can accept credit cards (using PayPal as intermediary), for an additional non-refundable fee of approximately 3% in the US and 4.5% for international guests (including Canada). The credit card fee is charged by PayPal, not us. (The exact amount of the extra fee will be quoted to you at the time of booking.)
Payment is subject to addition of Hawaii Taxes of 14.25% which will be itemized, unless the rate is advertised as "includes taxes".
$300 deposit is required within 7 days of reservation or reservation will be cancelled.
Full payment must be received 90 days prior to reserved arrival date or reservation may be cancelled.
A damage deposit of $300 is required (although may be waived in certain situations). We prefer a separate check for the damage deposit.
The damage deposit will be refunded within 7 days of departure unless required to cover breakage, damage or excess cleaning.
Regarding PayPal and the Damage Deposit:
For those paying by credit card using PayPal as intermediary, the $300 damage deposit will incur an additional credit card fee of $8.96 in the US and $13.81 for international guests. (The extra credit card fee is paid to PayPal.) We may invoice you separately for the damage deposit (within 60 days of your scheduled departure date) so that we can later refund your damage deposit including credit card fees through PayPal. For international guests we are not responsible for any lost money due to changes in the US$ exchange rate between the time of your payment and the time of your damage deposit refund. Also, for some countries (such as Russia), PayPal imposes a waiting period on refunded money (reportedly up to 30 days). You are subject to the PayPal policies for your country.
Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and many of the amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.
> There are ground floor gas BBQ grills, chaise lounges, and tables/chairs available for use by all condo guests. Enjoy this area, but please clean-up when you leave as a courtesy for other guests and owners. Children must be supervised.
> Pool hours are 9am to 9pm. - Observe all pool rules posted there. Children using the pool must be supervised by an adult at all times. There is no lifeguard on duty - use at your own RISK.
> A trash dumpster is located in the parking lot. Please bag all trash. Recycling available.
> Observe quiet hours (posted in the condominium stairwell) so as not to disturb other guests and owners who live on-property.
> Hawaii law prohibits smoking within 20 feet of the building. Smoking is not permitted in our unit, on the lanai (patio), or on the lawn/pool area.
> Please do not hang anything on the lanai or walkway railings. Cooking is not allowed on the lanai's.
> You are allowed to park one car in the free parking lot conveniently located at the condominium. You must register your vehicle with the condominium association upon arrival (or the next day). We will give you instructions.

Wonderful week in paradise
Anita is an amazing owner who will help you through it all. The property is awesome. Right on the water with a beautiful sandy beach just steps away. She arms you with a guide book of all the good places to eat and activities to do. The condo is very comfortable and the lanai is perfect for unwinding in the evening. A perfect retreat for any couple for sure! Thank you Anita for helping us have a wonderful 5yr anniversary!

Best view ever!
We had a wonderful time in Maui. This condo is in a perfect location in Kihei. We were able to walk out to the beach and swim with the turtles everyday. The sunset views from the patio we’re breathtaking. The owner was quick to reply to any questions we had and provided us with tons of information on activities and sights in Maui. Highly recommend!

This property and our stay there could not have been more perfect. The condo is very nice and they provide any amenity you would need for your stay. The location and the beach right out in front are both amazing as well. I was blown away and will be back.
