The Kamaole Sands is one of Maui’s top-ranked resorts, with 15 acres of beautifully manicured tropical grounds and the largest resort pool in South Kihei. The unit, located on the 4th floor of building 10, is a one minute walk to the sand, with Kamaole III “postcard” Beach just across Kihei Road from the unit. There are sweeping ocean views from the oversized lanai (the larger of the two sizes at the resort).
This updated unit feels like a home with hand selected furnishings, comfortable king size beds, and oversized lanai, and a split AC system to keep you cool! The kitchen was equipped to prepare and serve your private tropical island feast, and features elegant stone counter tops, matched appliances, and a full compliment of small appliances and cook ware.
The living room features plenty of comfortable seating and the work of local Maui artists. The classic wood spiral staircase accesses the second-story bedroom, with also has AC, a TV, cable, and WiFi. There is great separation between bedrooms, with the other one located downstairs.
The Kamaole Sands features an additional child’s pool, and two hot tubs – one adults only. Well-maintained tennis courts, fitness center, gas grills and an on-site activities concierge are among the amenities.
Walk to more than a dozen restaurants within a six block range, and explore the Kihei beach path with access across the street – explore the beautiful shoreline for miles, past the Wailea resorts. Rent snorkel gear, kayaks, standup paddleboards, and surf boards close by.
Located in sun-drenched South Kihei adjacent to the Wailea resorts, the Kamaole Sands is impeccably maintained in a tropical garden setting with identifiers of Maui’s incredibly diverse plants and flowers, and several soothing water features.
This immaculate property, managed by Vacation-Maui, is complete with beach gear, including beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella, and a small cooler. Due to back-to-back bookings, cleaning, and maintenance schedules, early check-ins and late checkouts cannot be accommodated at this time. No Smoking. Pets NOT allowed. Parties, receptions, luaus, events, and gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. or later. Check-out time is no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Early check-ins and/or late checkouts cannot be accommodated. Please plan accordingly. If you have a late flight, we suggest booking another night to get the most out of your time on the island.
All units are equipped with smart locks. The door code will not work until the check-in time and will stop working precisely at the check-out time.
State and County Taxes are subject to change without notice.
Full payment is due 60 days prior to arrival and will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.
Cancellations must be in writing. Bookings cancelled at least 60 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund.
Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund.
If the reservation is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, there shall be no refund.
All Prices are in US Dollars. No payment is due at the time of booking. Balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival and will be charged to your card on file.
No Security Deposit is collected. However, the guest may be charged for missing items, excessive cleaning, violations of the house rules, and any damage done to the property beyond normal wear and tear.
Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and many of amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further to take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.
Parking is permitted only in the designated spaces.
The locked closet contains owners' personal items. Please be respectful.
Roaches are a common problem in the tropics. Please keep the kitchen clean from bread crumbs and food spills. Dispose of all trash at least every day.
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of others. No loud parties, no music outside after 10 pm.
No pets allowed.
Smoking is not permitted inside the unit or on the lanai. Smoking is permitted outside in the designated areas only.
Arrival instructions will be emailed to you 14 days prior to your arrival.

This is a great location. Our unit not exactly kid friendly/baby proof. Spiral wooden staircase difficult with children. Overall good place.

Definitely recommend! Lovely stay with everything you need. Great location but lots of trees obstructing the view of the ocean. The sound is wild… it mostly sounds like you are outside, and the roosters wake you up around 4am 🙈 The best communication and customer service!! The bed upstairs was SO comfortable. If you have a lot of stuff, the parking is right by the elevator- that was very convenient. Some cleaning issues but the host was nice about it. The shower upstairs doesn't get hot… not the worst thing but something to note. Overall good experience
