Tastefully furnished from Maui’s designer showrooms, this spacious, third-floor condo is set up with every convenience. The kitchen is set up with everything required to prepare and serve your private tropical feast, with an assist from the close-by gas grill just down the elevator. High-speed Wi-Fi, upgraded cable and a new 65” Smart TV (with smaller bedroom version), chilling AC in the living room and bedroom. Many of Kihei’s 1B condos have one bathroom: this condo has two.
Building 3 is sought after for its wonderful view of Kamaole Sands lush tropical courtyard gardens, proximity to the pool, and quick access to the beach. The resort has two lanai sizes: this one’s the largest, and features extra privacy: it’s a corner unit, with no one to your west (beach side), and an extra window (and more natural light) in the living room. There’s even the tiniest peak of the ocean, and the outdoor storage is packed with Tommy Bahama beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels and a cooler.
In addition to the large newly updated resort pool, there’s a separate child’s pool, and two Jacuzzis (one adult only). Amenities also include beautifully maintained tennis courts, a boutique fitness center, and even a Shave Ice stand on property. Vacation-Maui manage 7 Kamaole Sands units; as of this writing, 56 of our combined 60 online reviews are 5-Stars – and this unit is one of the nicest. The San Diego based owner created his Maui second home with an eye on quality, comfort, and upgrades wherever possible. Everything is fresh and sparkling new.
The Kamaole Sands is located in the desirable southernmost end of Kihei, three blocks from Wailea and close by three of Maui’s postcard beaches (including wondrous Keawakapu Beach). There are more than a dozen restaurants of every variety within 3 blocks, along with a great coffee kiosk, convenience store, local galleries, and equipment rental. South Kihei is the epicenter of Maui’s amazing beach culture, and the Kamaole Sands is a true highlight of South Kihei.
This immaculate property, managed by Vacation-Maui, is complete with beach gear, including beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella, and a small cooler. Due to back-to-back bookings, cleaning, and maintenance schedules, early check-ins and late checkouts cannot be accommodated at this time. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. or later. Check-out time is no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Early check-ins and/or late checkouts cannot be accommodated. Please plan accordingly. If you have a late flight, we suggest booking another night to get the most out of your time on the island.
All units are equipped with smart locks. The door code will not work until the check-in time and will stop working precisely at the check-out time.
State and County Taxes are subject to change without notice.
Full payment is due 60 days prior to arrival and will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.
Cancellations must be in writing. Bookings cancelled at least 60 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund.
Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund.
If the reservation is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, there shall be no refund.
All Prices are in US Dollars. No payment is due at the time of booking. Balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival and will be charged to your card on file.
No Security Deposit is collected. However, the guest may be charged for missing items, excessive cleaning, violations of the house rules, and any damage done to the property beyond normal wear and tear.
Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and many of amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further to take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.
Parking is permitted only in the designated spaces.
The locked closet contains owners' personal items. Please be respectful.
Roaches are a common problem in the tropics. Please keep the kitchen clean from bread crumbs and food spills. Dispose of all trash at least every day.
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of others. No loud parties, no music outside after 10 pm.
No pets allowed.
Smoking is not permitted inside the unit or on the lanai. Smoking is permitted outside in the designated areas only.

Great location and large lanai
We've stayed at Kam Sands many times, and enjoy the grounds, pool, bbq's & location to beach. Overall, this unit is nice, but some furniture not as comfy (couch/bed/chair) and lacking basic supplies/dishes compared to other units we've rented.
Very nice large lanai & A/C in both LV and bedroom.
Good communication from the managers. One minor problem getting into the unit, but they responded promptly and all else went smoothly! Aloha!

Everything we needed
Great host! Property was clean, spacious and had all the anemities my partner and I needed. Location was walking distance to great beaches and food. Would book again whenever I visit Maui again

Nicely updated bathrooms with lots of drawers in the vanity. Great A/C in living room and bedroom (please put directions in the unit). Bed was very comfortable. It would be handy to have a small dresser in the bedroom and more hangers in the closet. Nice bedding and towels. Beautiful LG washer and dryer. Nice appliances and cookware. We cook a lot so would have liked a few more dinner plates and other dishes so we could have run the dishwasher less often. A suggestion would be to have a stepstool in the unit to reach the high shelves. Loved the large lanai. Also, loved the extra side window as this is an end unit. Good location close to pool and parking spot. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely book this unit again.
