Thank you for considering our refreshed ocean-view condo in sunny South Kihei. We are pleased to begin welcoming vacationing guests again after pausing rentals for 18 months to provide housing for a Lahaina fire survivor family.
P-410 is a comfortable, well-equipped 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo that sleeps up to 6 guests. It is located directly across from Kama'ole Beach Park II and within easy walking distance of all three beautiful Kama'ole beaches.
Maui Banyan is also a Maui County Hotel-zoned vacation-rental property, giving guests added confidence that they are booking in an established visitor lodging location.
Beach days, sunsets, snorkeling, swimming, restaurants, shops, remote work convenience, and South Kihei fun are all close by.

IMPORTANT VACATION-RENTAL CONFIDENCE
Maui Banyan is located in a Maui County Hotel-zoned resort area.
For guests, this is an important distinction. You can book P-410 with the confidence of staying in an established South Kihei visitor lodging property, not an uncertain or questionable vacation-rental location.
P-410 also includes Hawaii tax IDs listed below for guest transparency.
TOP-FLOOR END UNIT - COOLER SIDE OF THE BUILDING
Our condo is located on the cooler north side of the P building at Maui Banyan Resort. This helps the trade winds pass gently through the condo, keeping it comfortable day and night.
P-410 is also a top-floor end unit, giving you more privacy and a relaxing place to return after a full Maui day.
The elevator makes arrival easy. Bring your luggage up to the 4th floor, enter your door code, and step into your home in paradise.
OCEAN VIEW + MOUNTAIN VIEWS + TWO LANAIS
Both lanais look out to the Pacific Ocean, the West Maui Mountains, and Haleakalā. We'll be honest — these aren't wide, wall-to-wall panoramas, but they are real views: enough ocean to spot a whale breach in winter (then walk across to Kama'ole II for the show), and both mountains keeping you company.
Morning coffee, afternoon reading, work breaks, and evening conversation all feel better from a Maui lanai.

Need to work while you are on Maui? P-410 includes helpful remote-work conveniences so you can stay productive between beach walks, island adventures, and sunset time.

We recently completed an extensive refresh of this fully furnished condo, with comfort, convenience, and value in mind.
The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals at home. It includes dishes, glassware, cookware, cooking utensils, small appliances, and basic spices/seasonings.
For your arrival, we also provide a starter supply of paper goods, laundry detergent, kitchen detergents, bathroom soaps, and shampoo/conditioner.
Whether you are making breakfast before the beach, packing snacks for the day, or enjoying dinner at home, the kitchen gives you flexibility and value during your Maui stay.

One of the best parts of staying at Maui Banyan is the location.
Kama'ole Beach Park II is directly across South Kihei Road — about a 3-minute walk from your door to the sand. Kama'ole I and Kama'ole III are also within easy walking distance.
One heads-up for planning: Kama'ole II's beach restrooms and showers are closed for storm-damage repairs (expected to reopen Fall 2026). The nearest facilities are at Kama'ole I and Kama'ole III, but the condo is closer.
That means you can enjoy multiple beaches without loading up the car, finding beach parking, or planning your whole day around driving.
Nearby you will find restaurants, shops, beach rentals, cafes, and casual dining options. P-410 is a great home base for guests who want a walkable South Kihei vacation.
A Maui Bus stop is also close by for guests who prefer to use public transportation for some outings.

Rental Policies
Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount you have paid. If you cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, you will get back 50%. Otherwise, there is no refund. If you need to modify your reservation dates, do so prior to 60 days to check-in.
For cancellations on or after arrival date all funds are forfeited. Early departure does not warrant any refunds.
Travel insurance is advised.
Payment Terms
Rates are displayed in US Dollars. A refundable reservation/security deposit of $300 is due within 5 business days from the date of booking. 25% of balance is due upon booking, and the last 75% is due 60 days prior to arrival. Payments accepted by US personal check, bank draft (Canadian and international guests), wire/ACH transfer, or any major credit card processed through PayPal. Check, draft, and bank-transfer payments have no fee; credit cards carry a processing fee (3% US-issued cards, 4.5% internationally issued). Details provided with your rental contract.
Security Deposit
A refundable reservation/security deposit of $300 is due within 5 business days from the date of booking.
Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and many of amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further to take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.

Location, location location....
Everyone has heard the term about location, and those words are very true, and it holds true with this condo.
From the start Andrew & Cynthia reached out to say hello and to offer their help in answering any questions as well as offering recommendations on places to see and favorite local restaurants . Their recommendations were certainly welcome as this was our first time on Maui.
The check in process was easy with the information in the welcome packet they provided. We arrived to find the condo clean and ready for us upon arrival. The unit is as described in the description and the pictures are accurate. We really appreciated the fact they have 2 coolers, a large one with wheels and a smaller one that you can throw over your shoulder with a few drinks in it to bring along sight seeing or to the beach if only need a few items. There was re-freezable ice packs ready to go in the freezer. There are also a couple different size boogie boards as well as a soft sided wagon filled with beach chairs loaded up ready for the first trip to the beach. Nice to have when travelling by air.
So back to the location, this place is perfectly positioned for time at the beach, casual or fine dining as well as shopping. Within a 5 minute walk from the front door we were on the Kamaole II beach which is right across the street from the property. Great beach, wasn't overly crowded and the water was clean and warm. There is also a lifeguard station on the beach to watch over everyone.
Dining and drinks are also within easy walking distance. Within a couple of blocks there is a Moose McGillicuddy's with food and a great low price happy hour! Downstairs from Moose's is Fred's Mexican restaurant with great fish tacos and outdoor seating with a beach view. Behind Fred's is Penny's Pizza and Pasta which has excellent wood fired pizza, cold beer and great service. If your looking for upscale dining, Wailea is a 6 minute drive south and features plenty of upscale dining options such as Longhi's, Tommy Bahama, Ruth Chris & many more. For breakfast I recommend trying Kihei Caffe which is about two miles north as they have an excellent breakfast. Right across the parking lot from them is Lava Java with some really good coffee and friendly staff that also gave us local recommendations on what to see.
The condo was a great place after a day out to relax, sip a cocktail and enjoy the breeze from the trade winds. I highly recommend this property!

10 days of excellence
Loved the Maui Banyon. The location of the property and the upkeep of both the building and grounds is very good. Our unit in P building 410 was exactly what was promised and much much more. In addition to all ammenties there were boogie boards, snorkel gear, suntan lotions and beach chairs for our use.
Communication with the owner was excellent prior to arrival and always available if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this unit and location to anyone. Thank you Andrew and Cindy!!
