With its abundant natural light and surrounding greenery and premium location within Maui Kamaole’s lush 23 acre setting, this contemporary condo hosts up to four guests in stylish tropical elegance. Its Alaska-based owners designed this condo for their own Maui getaway and furnished it from the island’s top showrooms.
Unlike most 1-bedroom condos, this one features two bathrooms, one en-suite with a private garden patio – perfect to greet the Maui day with morning coffee. A new high-end King mattress and luxury bedding, along with a TV and strong (and free) WiFi signal, are also featured in the main bedroom. A comfortable sleeper sofa accommodates two more.
There’s a properly-sized flat screen and upgraded cable in the living room, which features furnishings a step above most vacation rentals. Local art helps create an upscale tropical vibe. There is a washer and dryer setup in the unit.
You’re a short walk to the warm, pristine swimming and snorkeling offered at two close-by beaches: Kamaole III, and Keawakapu Beach. Beach gear, including umbrella, chairs and cooler, are provided
There is air conditioning throughout, and the kitchen was designed and set up to prepare your own private Maui feast – and there’s a gas grill close by to assist.
The resort is well known for its stunning Tropical Oasis pool, one of two on property and a close stroll from the condo. Assigned parking is free, and close as well as the properties' private tennis courts.
The beautiful kitchen features plenty of space to create, along with high-end appliances and every necessity and small appliance.
There are more than a dozen popular restaurants within six block of the resort, along with shopping, coffee, and rental outlets. Maui Kamaole is at the preferred south end of Kihei’s sun-drenched beach culture, close to spectacular beaches (Kamaole III and Keawakapu) and ideal kayaking and stand-up paddling playgrounds. Wailea and its luxury resorts are just two blocks South, and the resort is convenient to the shoreline beach path that meanders beyond Kihei to Wailea.
A $59 administrative fee provides damage protection coverage with every booking.

1. A $200 deposit is due at time of booking. (which I'm actually pushing out until August to make sure we are actually open for business)
2. Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival and will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.
3. Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund, less a 4% charge for credit card processing fees.
5. Bookings cancelled at least 14 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund.
6. If the reservation is cancelled within 14 days of arrival, there shall be no refund.
Should the travel to the island be restricted again, we would offer a full refund of any monies paid less the 4% credit card fee.
Rates are displayed in US Dollars. A 30% deposit is required at booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. We accept payments by Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
This is a deposit hold of $500 collected from the guest to cover possible damage to the property. It is fully refunded within 5 business days if there are no damages. We inventory and inspect the property before and after every stay.The guest will be charged for missing items, excessive cleaning, violations of the house rules, and any damage done to the property beyond normal wear and tear.
Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and many of amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further to take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.
Parking is permitted in the designated spaces painted white. You will be assigned a parking and issued a permit upon your arrival. Please always keep your permit on a dash board. One car can be parked in the garage. Additional two cars can be parked outside.
The locked closet contains owners' personal items. Please be respectful.
Local calls are free. Please use your calling card or credit card for long distance calls.
Roaches are a common problem in the tropics. Please keep the kitchen clean from bread crumbs and food spills. Dispose of all trash at least every day.
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of others. No loud parties, no music outside after 10 pm.
No pets allowed.
Smoking is not permitted inside the unit or on the lanai. Smoking is permitted outside in the designated areas only.
Check the furniture, closets and washer/dryer for you personal belongings. Put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the washing cycle. All furniture should be in the same place as it was on your arrival. Turn down all lights and the air conditioner. Lock all windows and doors. Return the keys to the lobby.

Great apartment, close to south Kihei beaches and restaurants. We saw 11 turtles one morning at Kamaole 3 beach just a 5 minute walk away! Excellent communication and easy check-in with coded door lock. Comfy king size bed and well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Air conditioners in the living room and bedroom were much appreciated during the hot humid weather. Beach gear was a nice bonus: chairs, umbrella, snorkels, fins, boogie boards, towels, cooler, all in good condition. The pool was also very nice. Highly recommended.

Everything we needed.
The condo had a well-stocked kitchen, and there were plenty of useful things for the beach, which was very helpful. We had a couple issues working the tv’s but management was VERY quick to respond/fix. Place needs a few updates (patio furniture, new, higher toilet) and bathroom grout needs re-doing, but we would definitely recommend, and stay here again.

This is a standard 1-bedroom condo in Maui Kamaole. We love the location: you can just cross the street and you are on a beach for a quick swim or a nice view of a sunset. The condo is on the first floor, freshly painted, and has a couple of clean and well-working window AC units. The furniture is pretty standard and well represented by the pictures. There is a good supply of beach chairs, snorkeling equipment and body boards. There were a few things that were less than pleasant: the floors, the glass tables, the patio (lanai), and lanai's furniture weren't washed in quite a while. While the bed clothing on the main bed was nice, fresh and clean the bedding on sofa-bed left less than fresh impression (it smelled!). The tableware is limited to the point where we had to wash it immediately so we'll have something to use. That is, instead of running the dishwasher once a day. Not only that but some options just aren't available. For instance, there are 3 tablespoons and 1 bowl. To be fair there are deep plates so you can serve soup or cornflakes but there isn't enough of them to get by without a wash between the meals.
I also don't quite understand why the owners provided very limited number of toilet paper rolls and garbage bags. We do travel with our own soap and shampoo (everyone has their own preferences) but I'm yet to travel with my own garbage bags. I can't believe the profit margin on this condo is so thin that providing enough garbage bags or toilet paper rolls can tip the scale.
Some of the appliances are just flaky: the fridge takes quite a while to cool anything down and some of the burners require finessing to turn on.
Quite frankly, at this price point I expected better. That being said, this isn't a bad place - just needs some TLC to shine.
