The unit sleeps four in consummate style, with two nicely separated bedrooms; one upstairs, one down. There is an AC unit in the living room, but not in either bedroom. The unit enjoys cooling from the trade winds blowing through the center of the island off of the ocean. Two blocks away, Maui’s world-renowned Aquarium, several great restaurants, ice cream, coffee, and other “essentials” await. Don’t miss the new 3D whale experience at Maui Ocean Center. Also, there is excellent hiking less than a half mile away, across the west Maui mountains, where captivating ocean views await. Explore one of the island’s best-kept secret beaches (except for the locals) a few hundred yards up the shoreline from the property.
This immaculate property, managed by Vacation-Maui, is complete with beach gear, including beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella, and a small cooler. Due to back-to-back bookings, cleaning, and maintenance schedules, early check-ins and late checkouts cannot be accommodated at this time. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. or later. Check-out time is no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Early check-ins and/or late checkouts cannot be accommodated. Please plan accordingly. If you have a late flight, we suggest booking another night to get the most out of your time on the island.
All units are equipped with smart locks. The door code will not work until the check-in time and will stop working precisely at the check-out time.
State and County Taxes are subject to change without notice.
Full payment is due 60 days prior to arrival and will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.
Cancellations must be in writing. Bookings cancelled at least 60 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund.
Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund.
If the reservation is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, there shall be no refund.
All Prices are in US Dollars. No payment is due at the time of booking. Balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival and will be charged to your card on file.
No Security Deposit is collected. However, the guest may be charged for missing items, excessive cleaning, violations of the house rules, and any damage done to the property beyond normal wear and tear.
Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and many of amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further to take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.
Parking is permitted only in the designated spaces.
The locked closet contains owners' personal items. Please be respectful.
Roaches are a common problem in the tropics. Please keep the kitchen clean from bread crumbs and food spills. Dispose of all trash at least every day.
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of others. No loud parties, no music outside after 10 pm.
No pets allowed.
Smoking is not permitted inside the unit or on the lanai. Smoking is permitted outside in the designated areas only.

Location was centrally located and close to the airport. The view was breathtaking with lots of whale sightings. Just be sure to check for beaches and other activities that need reservations prior to going. Drove for two hours on the Road to Hana just to get turned around because we didn’t have reservations. Overall great vacation.

Overall, this is an outstanding condo. We loved the location. Maalaya feels much calmer and more peaceful than other popular locations. The view from the deck is spectacular. We saw whales each day (in January) and sea turtles on the rocky and sandy shore. the capacity is good for a family. Our one issue was with the sofa bed that our teenager slept on. It's extremely difficult to put back in once it's out, and we actually had to ask for assistance the first morning. We never quite figured it out, and it doesn't feel like the best quality sofa bed for the price of the condo. That said, if you just have four people staying, you'll be set with enough regular beds! Again, it's an amazing place overall.

Very nice condo with all the amenities you could possibly need. The highlight of the unit is the Lanai looking right out over the ocean. Amazing! We would eat breakfast watching the turtles right at the edge of the property. The location of the unit is a short drive to any where on the island. The management company was very helpful with any questions and readily accessible. Great unit made for a great holiday.
