Gem near Keawakapu Beach - Privacy and Ocean Views
Our condo is uniquely positioned in The Palms resort, having ocean views from both rooms, both lanais and the kitchen, high ceilings in both rooms and incredible privacy. It's bright, full or air and light, clean, stuffed with new linens, towels and beach gear and ready for you to enjoy Maui. It's located in the lower and much smaller area of the resort and is closer to Keawakapu beach than most of the condos in The Palms at Wailea.
REMODELED IN 2023
The owners stayed in the condo and remodeled it from June 2022 to January 2023, that's why there are no reviews for those months. The condo was tiled, both bathrooms were remodeled. A new kitchen, new countertops and new appliances. New serve-through kitchen window. New split AC system. New Italian sofa-sleeper with foam mattress. Newly designed entry with two storages - for shoes and beach supplies.
Keawakapu beach has been named aong 10 top beaches in the world by Conde Nast Traveler. It's magical and our favorite. Not crowded, bordered by some of Maui's most expensive multi-million dollar homes, it feels more private than any of famous Maui beaches. Great for swimming and snorkeling, with amazing sunset views, Keawakapu beach is 0.7 mile long and connects to the Wailea Oceanfront Boardwalk trail. We are just 0.4 miles away, a few-minute slow walk to the south public access to the beach. You can drive there too; the free parking is ample and you can also park along the road.
OCEAN VIEW, HIGH CEILINGS, COMPLETE PRIVACY
When we first walked into this condo, we were amazed at the privacy it provides. Take a good look at the photos - you can see the ocean from the living room, kitchen, bedroom and both lanais. From our condo you don't see any parking, cars, houses or people -- just the ocean and palms are looking through the large lanai doors and the kitchen window. This a second floor penthouse with soaring ceilings in both the living room and the bedroom. You have to be able to walk the stairs to come and go, as there are no elevators in The Palms resort.
PLEASE INQUIRE FIRST about your dates, avoid sending a booking request right away. We have to make sure your dates align with our other bookings. For example, if we have a booking, staring on April 10, and you request to stay April 2-9, it might not work for us. We might need to get a booking until April 10 or until April 3, leaving us one full week between bookings.
TWO COVERED LANAIS
The condo is very large at 1022 square feet. And two covered lanais add additional 120 square feet off the living room and 170 square feet off the bedroom - it easily provides plenty of comfortable space to spread out while you explore Maui.
THE PALMS AT WAILEA RESORT
The Mediterranian-style white villas of The Palms Resort are across Okolani Drive from Wailea Ekahi. They spread over almost 17 acres of tastefully landscaped tropical grounds. It's a low-density resort; all buildings have just two stories. Our condo is in the lower area of the resort and closer to the ocean and beaches than most condos. There is a nice trail uphill, along a running stream with flowering water lilies, from our lower area to the whale-shaped salt water pool and hot tub.
OUR CONDO – DETAILS
This condo is located on the second floor, you have to be able to walk the stairs. It hgas a new dual-zone AC (in bedroom ands living room).
The living room has a queen sofa sleeper with high-quality foam mattress. It folds together with the attached back pillows, so opening and closing it is a breeze. There is AC, 65"smart TV, and a 48" round dining table with 5 chairs. Two sliding doors provide lots of light and access to both covered lanais. A quiet large 72" ceiling fan cools the room well. Guesrts can sleep comfortably on the sofa-bed with the fan turning on low speed for a cooling breeze, and not need the AC.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. There is a convenient serve-through window between the kitchen and the living room lanai.
The living room lanai has counter-high Polywood table and 4 chairs. You can add 2 counter stools from under the kitchen peninsula to seat 6 people. We don't have an outdoor grill. If it's really important for you to have a grill, please let us know about it.
The bedroom is located three steps above the living room and lanai level. It has very high ceilings and lots of air. There is a Cal King bed with a firm Serta mattress and a foam topping, a 48" smart LG TV and an AC.
Master bathroom has a shower over bathtub. Master toilet is separated by a door.
Second bathroom has a shower stall. There is a full-size washer and dryer near the second bathroom.

A cancellation notice must be received in writing. If canceled 60 days prior to check-in (90 days in winters Dec 15 - Apr 15), only the initial deposit will be retained. There are no refunds for cancellations less than 60 days prior to arrival (less than 90 days in winters Dec 15 – Apr 15). For cancellations on or after arrival date all funds are forfeited. Rates are displayed in US Dollars. The larger of $500 or 25% of the rent Deposit is required to book. Balance is due 60-90 days prior to check-in, depending on season (90 days in winters Dec 15 - Apr 15). Payments by personal checks or money orders are preferred to avoid fees. Wire transfers and Paypal/credit card payments are accepted, if the guest covers the incurred fees.
This is a payment of $500 collected from the guest to cover possible damage to the property. It is fully refunded within 10 business days if there are no damages. We inventory and inspect the property before and after every stay. The guest will be charged for missing items, excessive cleaning, violations of the house rules, and any damage done to the property beyond normal wear and tear.
Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and many of amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further to take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.

Literally everything has been remodeled / replaced including tile, appliances, paint, and kithenware. The master bath is spectacular, as is the kitchen. The pictures accurately depict exactly what you're getting. If privacy is what you're looking for, this is your place as both balconies are secure from prying eyes yet have views of the water. The large table on one of the balconies is the perfect place for breakfast or sunset meals.The grounds at this complex are immaculately maintained. It is in a beautiful location just off of a tree-lined boulevard. The outstanding conditions, helpful instructions, and rapid responses by Elena make this a fantastic rental that I recommend without hesitation. I'll be back!

This is an excellent place to stay. You can watch the sunset from the deck and everything is very clean and taken care of. Kitchen has all the basics to cook with and there are some beach items to use as well.

Beautiful condo in the best location of Maui. Very quiet and close to many great beaches in Wailea. We would go back any time.
