No Smoking. Pets NOT allowed. Parties, receptions, luaus, events, and gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. or later. Check-out time is no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Early check-ins and/or late checkouts cannot be accommodated. Please plan accordingly. If you have a late flight, we suggest booking another night to get the most out of your time on the island.
All units are equipped with smart locks. The door code will not work until the check-in time and will stop working precisely at the check-out time.
State and County Taxes are subject to change without notice.
Rental Policies
Cancellation Policy
Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival and will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.
Cancellations must be in writing. Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund. Bookings cancelled at least 15 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund.
If the reservation is cancelled within 14 days of arrival, there shall be no refund.
Payment Terms
All Prices are in US Dollars. No payment is due at the time of booking. Balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival and will be charged to your card on file.
Security Deposit
No Security Deposit is collected. However, the guest may be charged for missing items, excessive cleaning, violations of the house rules, and any damage done to the property beyond normal wear and tear.
Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and many of amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further to take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.
House Rules
Parking:
Parking is permitted only in the designated spaces.
Owners Closet:
The locked closet contains owners' personal items. Please be respectful.
Garbage:
Roaches are a common problem in the tropics. Please keep the kitchen clean from bread crumbs and food spills. Dispose of all trash at least every day.
Quiet Hours:
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of others. No loud parties, no music outside after 10 pm.
Pets:
No pets allowed.
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted inside the unit or on the lanai. Smoking is permitted outside in the designated areas only.
Arrival:
Arrival instructions will be emailed to you 14 days prior to your arrival.
Departure:
Detailed instructions will be provided regarding departure process.

The house is so beautiful and well prepared - the view is so amazing from the balcony that we ended up eating at the villa instead of going out. Most nights. We also love how the house is so well stocked with everything we need - from detergent to beach chairs and beach towels :) the location is also great - close to shops and many beaches so some days we just walked around the area. Lastly, the management team is also really responsive- we asked for an extra duvet and it was delivered right away. Overall it’s one of the best Airbnb we stayed in and will definitely come back.

The unit was very nice with a wonderful ocean view, and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The only problem was the proximity to a very busy street were drivers tested the engine power of their rental cars. The noise started early and ended late.
The unit was nicely decorated but in need of a few repairs.
The screen door on the master bedroom had a broken handle and was difficult to open and close. The screen door on the 2nd bedroom was missing, so we were unable to leave the sliding glass door open in the evening.
The oven did not work. A repairman came by and determined that the control panel required replacement. The host did issue us a partial refund for the inconvenience.
The coffee machine did not work but was replaced on our third day.
And our porch light never worked. We asked to have it repaired but that never happened. Returning from dinner after dark required a flashlight to re-enter the unit.
When we return to Wailea we will certainly consider staying again at Wailea Ekolu, just not in Unit 102.
