Papakea Resort is a unique property unlike any other property. The resort is famous for being the least dense resort on the west side of maui - with 11 low-rise buildings on 13 acres. It has a wide open, uncrowded feel, koi ponds, lush tropical landscaping, pools & spas, 2-18 hole putting greens and grassy sunning areas. You will truly feel relaxed here.

Guest agrees to release the Owners, The Condo Association, and its agents, employees and affiliates (“Condo Parties”) of all liability. Guest agrees to release Condo Parties and to indemnify and hold harmless the Condo Parties from and against any and all loss, claims, liability, damage, costs and expenses, including attorney fees arising from any nuisance or harm made or suffered on the property by you or your guests or invitees, including without limitation, injury or death, or from any carelessness, neglect or improper conduct of any persons entering, occupying or visiting the premises.

As an active VRBO renter I occasionally find myself in a quandary.......this is one of them. Do I keep this amazing property to myself so it’s available when I travel or do I let everyone else know how spectacular this property is? Julie & Greg were so amazing that I’m spreading the word. Everything was beyond what was advertised from the property & waterfront view to the well stocked kitchen & beach supplies. You truly can’t find a better property than this near Lahaina. Prime Papakea unit
We love this unit. We have stayed at Papakea in several different units, but once we found F205 we feel no need to stay anywhere else. It is located in one of the coveted oceanfront buildings (there are only 3), and has recently been renovated with new floors and very stylish and comfy new furniture. Julie is a delight to work with, always responsive to any questions. If you’re lucky enough to stay in this beautiful unit, indeed you are lucky enough!

Celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary was just perfect, and this unit had a lot to do with that perfection!
The view is obvious, but the serenity that comes with this view is so much more... waking up each morning, grabbing your coffee or tea and just chillin' out on the lanai, seeing so many sizes and shapes of rainbows (I had no idea there were so many!)
The unit was clean, stocked and perfect for making a little breakfast...packing a lunch for the beach & making cocktails!! Whoo! (We ate out every night and always brought home leftovers, a veggi pizza became a veggi omelet the next morn!) We will be back... for sure. Thanks Greg & Julie :-)
